It’s not about the radio…well, it’s not all about the radio.

How many community organisations do you think operate in and around Stratford-upon-Avon? We think you’d be surprised how many community groups there are beavering in the background so that you have a place to go, things to do, opportunities to meet others, share, and support. Somewhere where you feel part of something, welcome and valued.

So, we want to tell everyone about the wonderful things the people of Stratford and the surrounding district are doing to help, support, enjoy and entertain each other: local people doing things for local people. All too often we hear the words, “I didn’t know that was happening!” We aim to use the tool kit that is Welcombe Radio to help fix that. We’re developing shows by local people, people who may be your neighbours, your colleagues, your friends.

And it’s all on your mobile, computer, and more importantly your doorstep!

If there’s nothing in our rapidly growing schedule that suits you, don’t sit at home and complain ~ join us. Be part of it! Have a voice-on-the-airwaves celebrating and sharing what you love about life. We’ll work hard with you to develop programmes you can be proud of.
